What a day it was to be in 4th grade STEAM class!! After several weeks of learning about the human senses, the students earned a reward of their choice. With a landslide vote, having a class dissection won! Students were able to connect their learning with a fun, hands-on experience by fully dissecting and exploring the anatomy of a cow eye, to further their understanding.
A VERY special thank you to, Mrs. Marshall, Dr. Vasco, Mr. Schaefer, and Mrs. Rodriguez, who joined our classroom to help with this project!!
As always, it’s a GREAT day to be a Wrangler!!!

The COMPETITION has begun! Which grade level will stuff the SRD van with the most non-perishable food items?! Please see the attached flyer for donation ideas!
Whichever grade level in both the elementary and secondary who collects the most items for the annual food drive to support the Wrangler Pack weekend food backpack program, will be awarded a ROOT BEER FLOAT CELEBRATION!

Shoshoni technology students recently attended and competed in a software development conference hosted by the University of Wyoming called the WyoHackathon. Wyoming legislators have passed laws that give better legal clarity to businesses engaged in digital currency and the innovative technologies behind these new systems. As a result of friendly and practical law, innovative industry is coming to Wyoming. At the 2019 WyoHackathon event Shoshoni students showed they have what it takes to participate in a highly competitive industry such as blockchain and financial technology.
In spite of competing against some of the top developers in the world Shoshoni came home with the following awards:
John Pierre took first place in the GREEN Challenge
Mercedes Daniels, Chase Brown, Hannah Ivie, Cammie Cornell, Trevan Fullmer took 3rd place in the D’CENT Biometric Wallet Video Contest
Kiana Swann, Abby Ballard, Cammie Cornell, Hanna Ivie, James Langlois, Trevan Fullmer took 3rd place in the GREEN Challenge
Tony Olson and Jesse Smith took 4th place in the “Best for Wyoming” Challenge
Sara Jarvis and Coulter Neale were extremely helpful and contributed greatly to our student success at this event.
