Hello Wrangler Fans,
The JH boys basketball team did a fantastic job of defending our home court last week with wins against Wind River and Meeteetse. Unfortunately, Riverside couldn't travel on Saturday, but the Wranglers will make the trip to Basin this Thursday to take on the Rebels in a conference matchup. The Youth boys made quick work of Trinity on Monday and followed that up with a road win in Pavillion! The JH and Youth have road games early in the week before two conference games at home on Saturday.
The HS wrestling team had a fantastic showing at the Ron Thon with Brueklyn Truempler placing 2nd and Abrianna Kiser and Lacoda Kiser placing 3rd. They have a dual at Lovell on Friday and a tournament at Greybull on Saturday.
The HS girls basketball team picked up a conference win at Greybull and followed that up with a win in a close game at home against Big Piney. The boys team fell behind early and battled back at Greybull before falling just short of the win, but came home on Saturday and beat Big Piney in a great team effort! The basketball teams have 3 non-conference games this week with home matchups on Thursday and Friday against 2 Fremont Co. teams, before taking to the road on Saturday at Wright.

Good afternoon Wrangler Fans,
Due to a conflict with gym usage, the Youth Boys Basketball game @ Riverton Rendezvous on Thursday, January 26 is cancelled.
Hello Wrangler Fans,
The "Cardiac Kids" a.k.a. The Shoshoni Youth Boys Basketball team has won in Overtime, not once, but twice, followed by a pair of games where the young Wranglers hit game winning shots in the closing seconds of regulation! Yesterday, they allowed the fans to breathe a little easier with a 4-0 run in the last minute to beat Rocky. This week they test their road legs with 2 games in Riverton and 1 at Wind River before returning home on Saturday.
The JH boys basketball team started their season strong with conference wins against Ten Sleep, Burlington and Greybull before losing a close game to a good Rocky Mountain team. They work to defend their home court on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday this week.
The HS basketball teams had a tough weekend in the first part of the conference schedule, losing at Wind River and vs Rocky Mountain. They look to rebound on the road at Greybull before returning home for a non-conference game against Big Piney on Saturday. The HS wrestlers took one of their longest trips of the year to Moorcroft and had a great showing. Their schedule features the largest tournament in the state at the Ron Thon in Riverton on Friday and Saturday.
